Young Mistress Aprill and Young Mistress Amy have their “Puppy” locked in a small cage in the garden. The girls can keep an eye on it from the kitchen window. They discuss how it needs looking after as its just an animal. They open a tin of dogfood and go to the garden to feed the lucky puppy its lunch. After being made to eat the dogfood through its cage it is let out, leashed and allowed to chase a stick around the garden. The girls then lock it back away. Let it lick its dish clean then go back into the warm house leaving the mutt out in the cold.
